Representative Falzone's First Annual Halloween Party is a Success

Representative Falzone at the Wakefield Senior Center Halloween PartyRepresentative Mark Falzone held his first Annual Halloween Party at the Wakefield Senior Center last Monday, October 26th. The Wakefield Senior Center provided the venue and decorations and the Square One Mall donated the entertainment for the event. Seniors, staff, and volunteers in costume danced and sang along with the classics performed by the lively Tony Barrie Orchestra and ate dessert while Representative Falzone presided as emcee. Rep. Falzone also played favorite tunes on the piano while the seniors and staff enjoyed their Halloween treats.

Judy Luciano, Director of the Wakefield Senior Center said, “We want to thank Representative Falzone for his generosity in sponsoring the first Halloween Party here at the Senior Center. I know that everyone had a really great time at the party.”

The dessert menu was ample with choices. There were two beautifully decorated sheet cakes provided by Super Stop in Shop in North Reading, dozens of cookies and punch provided by Shaw’s Supermarket. The desserts most certainly put smiles on the seniors’ faces.

Wakefield Seniors Enjoy the Entertainment and Decorations at the Halloween PartyThe most anticipated event of the afternoon was the free drawing of over 40 prizes donated by generous businesses around town. These include the Wakefield House of Pizza, Gregory’s: A Flower Shop and Garden Center, Omelette Headquarters, Greenwood House of Pizza, Dockside Restaurant, Billy’s Famous Roast Beef, McDonough's Liquors, Caporale's Fine Wine and Spirits, Tartarini's Chocolate Shoppe, and Bamboo House.

Representative Falzone emphasized, “I hope to make this Halloween Party an annual event here in Wakefield. By partnering with the Senior Center and local businesses, we are able to provide a wonderful occasion for the seniors throughout our community. Once again I would like to thank the Square One Mall for their generous donation, and commend the staff and volunteers of the Wakefield Senior Center, including Director Judy Luciano, for their much needed support in making this event run as smoothly as it did.”
