Representative Mark Falzone, winner of the Democratic Primary for State Representative, was endorsed for election by his former primary opponent Anthony Guardia. Appearing before supporters and the press, Guardia pledged his assistance for Falzone in the General Election and encouraged his supporters to rally around Falzone’s campaign.

Anthony Guardia emphasized, “After a hard-fought and spirited primary campaign, I congratulate Mark Falzone on his victory and give him my full support and endorsement. I want to thank my many volunteers and supporters, and I urge them to join with me in working for and voting for Mark Falzone in the general election. Together, we will move forward in a unified effort for a great Democratic victory on November 2nd.”

Mark Falzone noted, “Anthony and I share a strong set of values and a strong work ethic. We both understand that the job of State Representative requires a full-time commitment. We both care deeply about the people of this community and share their anger and frustration concerning jobs, education, heathcare, and having money for retirement and for a college education.”

Falzone continued, “I am very pleased to have Anthony’s full support and endorsement, and I look forward to working with him and his supporters, in a spirit of unity, throughout the campaign ahead.”

The 9th Essex District consists of portions of Lynn, Lynnfield, Saugus and Wakefield. The General Election will be held November 2nd.
