Representatives Mark Falzone and Katherine Clark, Town Administrator Stephen Maio, and Selectman John Encarnacao toured the Galvin Middle School with the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA). The MSBA is considering the town’s Statement of Interest for an expansion of the school using funds provided by the state. Representatives Falzone and Clark will be pushing for the project to move to a feasibility study.

Representative Mark Falzone joined striking United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 709 and Jeff Crosby of the North Shore Labor Council at a picket line in front of the Shaw’s in Saugus on Thursday, April 1st. The UFCW Local 709 is striking to protest proposed benefits cuts in their contract negotiations with the supermarket chain.
